Héctor C. Gómez was born in Argentina in 1953. He has worked as an illustrator for numerous Brazilian advertising agencies such as Siboney, Rhino, Young & Rubicam Fox, J. Walter Thompson, Lintas, Ogilvy; in the country's leading magazines such as Veja, Playboy, Quatro Rodas, Planeta, Super Interessante and for book publishers such as Nova Fronteira, Círculo do Livro, Moderna and others.
He held several solo and collective exhibitions of his painting works in art galleries and was creative director of the digital agency Hipermídia between 1997 and 1999, Ogilvy Interactive between 1999 and 2001 and Tesla, between 2002 and 2005.
He has worked in the US market since 1992 and has collaborated with major publishers such as Marvel, DC comics, Eclipse, Maximum Press, Innovation, Topps Comics, SkyBox and Dark Horse, where he developed the series Buffy, The vampire Slayer and Angel. In Brazil he published Samsara, by Globo; The adventures of Juba and Lula 1 and 2 and the series Amazing Girls.
